Very old plane. I think totally inappropriate for the best airline in the world. U needed to search for a cursor inside the armrest to use the screen. On-board entertainment poor. Food nothing I could remember any more (so not that great neither). Last time I chose QR I received a menu and a bag with travel utensils. This time not. The crew was friendly, but more or less acted like robots with no personality. I was supposed to fly with Oman air, but the flight was cancelled so we were booked on this flight. On the way back from our vacation destination we could fly with Oman air, which was surprisingly waaaay better. In every department. New plane. Great movies. Good food. perfect crew. u received a bad with many little useful things in it for a long flight. touch-screen that did not turn off during take off and landing. I only had think that QR seats give you a bit more legroom. I am 6'5 (196cm), but had no problems to sit in either plane.
New Business class with 180° full flat seat. Great!!
There's a box underneath the chair in front taking up leg room. That happens in many of the window seats
I have flown on business class seat 3A but I personally founded the plane very old and unconfortable. Seat cant be reclined at 180 degrees and the monitor where i was supposed to wach a movie was not well fixed to the plastic in front of me. I could not sleep well. Service was instead excellent as always...
The legroom on this aircraft is terrible, I'm a 5'6" woman of average build and even I found the journey from Doha to Manchester the worst experience ever. The entertainment screen is so close on the seat in front, that I found it impossible to use. Going into recline was not an option when the person in seat 29A decided he wanted to recline. I will never again travel with Qatar on an A330
Good seat. Since there was nobody behind me I got extra recline and lots of privacy.
Flight Doha-Osaka, too narrow seat. We chose 12J and 12K to be my husband and I together alone, but we could not move a lot. Legroom was more than ok for us. Only one toilet in the mid part of Economy class, more at the end of the cabin. Great service and food, as always in Qatar.
Qatar fall short with this aircraft in economy, narrow seats, average pitch, entertainment system short on decent content and the food has gone downhill( which luckily is served in small portions now) still being bussed to and from the plane at Doha. If they used the A380 or B777 on the MAN-DOH route I would use them every time. Until then Emirates have the better product in my opinion.
Bad seat. Very limited legroom and space for storage underneath. In addition to the entertainment box space is limited by an additional construction from the front seat. Basically there is nearly no space at all for storage or legroom.
Standard Economy Class seat. Armrests can't be lifted due to design of the backrest. Lavatories right behind row 42 and you can hear the flushing of the toilet extremely loud! There are almost no toilets in front of Economy cabin, therefore passengers queue up next to your seat. I'd avoid any seat in rows 39 and higher in the future!
