If you are flying on the red eye it is next to impossible to sleep in the regular seats, even for a short person. The seats do not recline, and are narrow so it would be difficult for a larger person to sit comfortably in one. The arm rests do lift which helps. As a 6'0" person, I was able to fully stretch out my legs. My knees were completely unobstructed. However, the other regular seats looked to be packed very tightly. So if you're a taller person, I would fully recommend spending the extra for this seat. Since this is technically also an exit row seat, the recline is very limite...

Bulkhead is very close to this seat and does not justify a premium seat price. Also very narrow due to tray table in the armrest. 1A was slightly wider due to the left armrest not having a tray. From 1C you can at least stretch into the aisle and galley a bit.
