Great seat! In between snack and toilet. Good overhead room. Newer plane with lg IPad like screens. I am 5’2 if you are taller than me I would get an upgrade for more leg room. For me it was fine.

Fantastic service....we are both disabled and i asked for a chair with more space for my leg and they seek and found us a place with 4 chairs so plenty of room. Of course the plane wasn't full. We've got good food and drinks and it was enough, the stewards where very kind.

This seat was one of the more forward Economy seats on UA's flight from SFO to Incheon. United didn't sell out, so the middle seat next to me was empty. This seat would be uncomfortable on a full flight, as would all of Economy and Economy plus. But given the situation, this sear is in a convenient spot, close enough to the toil...

(coach/ economy)A painfully long flight on an aging cabin/ model; everything on this 747 should be updated. No individual entertainment is provided lousy service etc. Never again will I use this route. The photos below are for 1st class. Good luck for the 99% ...

Great area to try and get some rest for a very long flight. We chose the seats due to my husband being an extremely broad shouldered man. He had extra shoulder room in seat B because there was no A seat. Those extra inches make a big difference. Yes, it is louder in the back of the plane, but we just plugged in our iPods, closed...

No personal TV, but entertainment was OK. Seats didn't recline too far, which doesn't intrude do much on personal space. Good space between wall and seat to put my bag. Normally I get backache after a few hours, but nothing on this flight.

3/1/2014 Karen Hayes, seat 25K

While close to toilets, there was no problem with people congregating. Shared tv screens on a 14 hour flight are so outdated and show how United cares little for it's customers! The apple cobbler (?) dessert was inedible raw dough topping off a generally poor dinner. Bring a book or your own DVD player and movies!

11/12/2013 Dave, seat 9A

Very comfortable, reasonably quiet, the seat was long enough and reclined to the horizontal so I slept longer than I normally do. The seat controls and entertainment were easy to operate. The food and wine were very good. No complaints whatsoever.

Should have paid more attention up front on reviews of this seat. VERY busy being next to galley door, carts moving in and out, hitting of shoulder as they go past. Crowded but almost livable otherwise. Seat pitch does not allow anyone with "girth" to lower table fully flat. Wish they would make table with a double fold so coul...

My wife and I had 14 J and K. Overall we were pleased with the privacy and space in the upper deck of the 747-400. The overhead storage is not as good as the business class below, however the storage closet area means you do not have to hall your stuff to seat. The window storage (if you are a couple is good tho). Yes, when the ...

When the cabin crew access the flight station they lock off access to the two upstairs bathrooms and so you have to go to the lower deck. Good service, Good accommodation. Overall a good flight.

I paid more so I could have a Chinese mob constantly standing in front of me stepping on my toes to go to the bathroom. The entire 11 hour flight I could tell who's stomach liked the food or didn't. Extra $119.00!!! Not Nice United!

9/1/2011 Justin Tsui, seat 7G

The best point about 7G is that you don't even feel the plane's movements. I don't even feel much turbulence even when it was announced. UA's Asian service is stellar! The Business Class (new) seats are amazing. They are so good that I flew it about 3 times - using miles as well as revenue. Too many announcements (trilingual - E...

Excellent Seat. A bit strange to the eye as your seat is pointing in about 10 degrees so it appears as if you are not going straight on take off and landing. Seats 1A and 1K are a bit close. But not like Economy or Business Class. Lot's of Room. 2A and 2K are the better of the seats but you have a closet next to you in the cente...

Window side has a lot of room. But can't lay on window to sleep.

6/23/2009 Ethan Lathan, seat 24A

This seat was nice and comfortable, but you can really tell the UA's seats are aging. While the padding was quite sufficient and the pitch and witdth good, the seat was almost delapidated and was not electronic; it's a very good thing that UA is redoing these seats. Otherwise, the flight was quite comfortable and the seat good,...

The seats are really good. They almost recline completely, and the upper deck was really quiet and private, the place was perfect to rest in there. The seats are really spaced between each other so there was more even privacy.

3/7/2008 Tomás González de Rosenzweig, seat 14B

Bussiness class seats are ideal for working or resting. The upper cabin of this airplane gives passengers in these area more privacity and the sensation of peace.

3/5/2008 Michael McAdam, seat 16A

Glad I only had to do a short hop from SYD to MEL in this clunker. The seats may have been cutting edge 20 years ago, but they are horribly dated. I had avoided taking UA to SYD in the first place, opting instead for NZ via HNL. For a short hop it was fine, but I wouldn't want to try to get any serious sleep in these seats. ...
