Frequently asked questions

Can I choose my Jet2 seat before check-in?

Yes. Pay to select seats when booking or later through Manage My Booking; the price varies by seat location and route. Otherwise, seats are allocated at online or airport check-in. A paid choice can still change for operational, safety or security reasons, including after boarding.

Will Jet2 seat my child next to an adult?

Jet2 says it will make every effort to seat families together and try to place children under 12 next to an accompanying adult. Without pre-booked seats, this may only be arranged at the airport or on board. Reserve seats in advance if you want particular places for the whole party; seating a child beside an adult does not ensure the whole party sits together.

How do I arrange Jet2 seating assistance?

Request Assisted Travel when booking or through Manage My Booking, as early as possible and no later than 48 hours before departure. Jet2 can arrange Standard seating according to your needs, subject to availability, and says you will sit next to a required safety assistant or companion. Its extra-legroom seats are emergency-exit seats and are unavailable to passengers requiring assistance.

What hand luggage does Jet2 include?

Each passenger except an infant has one free cabin bag up to 10 kg and 56 × 45 × 25 cm, including wheels and handles, plus an under-seat bag up to 40 × 30 × 20 cm. An infant’s hand baggage shares the adult’s allowance. Cabin space is subject to operational and capacity limits, so the larger bag may be placed in the hold; keep valuables, medication and lithium batteries with you.
