Seat map guides

Ryanair seat maps after SeatGuru: 189 or 197 seats?

An old Ryanair seat number is useful only after you identify the configuration. The Seatmap.org catalog has separate maps for the 189-seat Boeing 737-800 and the 197-seat Boeing 737 MAX 8200, also called MAX 8-200. The table links directly to each layout.

Search by airline or aircraft. Confirm the assigned layout in your booking.

How to distinguish the two Ryanair maps

The 189-seat 737-800 ends at numbered row 33; the 197-seat MAX 8200 ends at row 35. Both catalog maps have one cabin. Last row means the highest printed row number, not a count of consecutive rows. Match the model and total seats as well as the row numbers in your booking.

Use a seat number without carrying over an old rating

Open the matching map, enter or select the seat number, and read the notes attached to that configuration. Do not assume a seat’s color, legroom or window note from a different layout applies here. If a detail is absent, check the airline or the linked reference rather than treating absence as a positive recommendation.

Seat selection and availability

Use Ryanair’s booking or manage-booking screen for seat prices, availability and eligibility rules. This guide does not identify the operating aircraft from a flight number, and it is not a complete current fleet inventory. Recheck the booking map if the aircraft changes.
