Airplane Boeing 747-8 (752) International American Airlines with 3 classes and 176 seats on board. Use airplane seat map to find which ones are more comfortable and which should be avoided.
Seats 1A, 1B, 1E, and 1F are bulkhead seats, however they are superior to the other business class seats because the footwell is much larger. There is also more storage below the footwell, so the typical issue with bulkheads (no underseat storage) does not apply. Row 1 seats are the best in business.
Leg room is nice but the aircraft lining encroaches on your shoulder space. Good for people without broad shoulders
3 hour flight from DFW to PHL. Seat was easily adjusted to be lay flat and I was able to doze off easily. 2 available AC power connectors per seat: one in front where tablet holder is and one immediately behind your head. WIFI system did not work for the flight - could not even watch entertainment.
The seat recline of row 16 (16A to F) is not only restricted, it is nonexistent, these seats don't recline!
Not having the personal Entertainment system in First Class is a drag. On board Wifi never works. So don't forget to download movies you want to watch ahead of time in any class. Terrible decision by AA to get rid of their Entertainment system and only rely on overhead TVs.
I thought this was a very comfortable seat between Dublin and JFK. It reclined to a full bed, although I agree if you are on the inside you will have to step over the person on the outside if they are fully reclined to get out of your seat. My wife and I were traveling together so this was not a problem.
good seat- flew JFK/DUB/JFK( but 757 should be used on short haul flights/-AA uses also 757 on the CDG run).Good leg room-close to toilet-
Horrible flight ever. Old plane with TV screens hanging from the ceiling so no personal entertainment. Row 14 has NO BINS to use because they decided to store equipment there. Supposed to be MCE but I couldn't tell the difference from regular economy. Row 14 is also one row back from the exit row so the config is different. I w...
I paid to have this seat and moved. This seat is almost 3" narrower than 18E and 18F in the same row, not sure why. Fortunately, seat 19D remained open and I was able to move back a row. The guy in 18F moved over when I left and said, "This is a tiny seat!" and moved back to his window seat. My husband who was in 18C was stuck w...
Was surprised at the pitch of the seat, About the same as United premium economy.Plenty of legroom. I did have a window and could keep an eye on the engine. Food was OK. Got a pillow and blanket and got to sleep a few hours.
Wasnt looking forward to this flight as it was on an older, single aisle aircraft with overhead screens rather than in-seat entertainment, so booked Main Cabin Extra. Well worth it, the plane looked recently refurbished, the seat pitch was great (Im 61) and the cabin was quiet. I didnt choose Exit row (10) as I though passe...
I flew DFW-LIM and was assigned this seat. Below it were the lifeboats, the only place to move my feet and legs was towards the front. It had limited recline despite the fact that it was not the last row. Please, be careful when you are assigned to this seat.
I flew on this 757 LIM-DFW October 2017 The seat's storage was not great. On the positive side, The bed setting was comfortable enough for me to get a few hours sleep with three couples with babies in business class. Overall the service and seat was average.
Flew in 2D from AMS to Philly. Seat very comfy (lie flat), table movie system worked great and charged just fine after I fiddled with the adapter to ensure completely plugged in. Tablet of course then worked for entire flight. The tablets are gathered about 30 min prior to landing so I couldn't finish my movie - a very minor ...
Old plane, narrow bodied, two sets of 3 seats, extra legroom priceless, but it doesnt help the over 8 hour journey straining your neck to watch an old tv between the aisles. Unbelievable !!! Crew are nice but totally laugh at their own airline (must be hard working for a company who don't care)... Don't bother with American Airl...
Business class in this plane is AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL! Old plane, old system, no built in TV! They give you these ridiculous Samsum tablets that don't seem to hold the charge- even when they are plugged in using that huge charger- and they end up dying before you finish watchingyour movie. Movies loaded im the tablets are old, I h...
MCE SEATS ARE AWFUL! BUSINESS SEATS ARE AWFUL! Old nasty aircraft with CRT monitors- give me a break!
The seatguru info says that these business seats are angle flat seats. However, they are in fact fully flat. i just flew this from la paz to miami the other day. AVOD for this plane, however, is absolutely primitive. they hand out tablets for you to watch movies, and it didnt work half the time.
Worst Businesses Class Seats we have ever sat in, small cramped leg area ,Hard narrow seats could not sleep , Food terrible, plane sounded like it was falling apart . AA have reduced the quality of aircraft from Man UK from a 787 downgraded to a 767 and now even lower to a 757 reduced quality all round. the only saving grace is...
The recliner was broken, my husband had to sit upright from Paris to JFK. His sound on the entertainment system also did not work. Food was terrible. Do not order the steak, couldn't cut it with a chain saw.
