Frequently asked questions

When can I choose an AIRDO seat?

You can select an available seat after reserving, until 24 hours before departure. Your seat reservation is cancelled if you miss the ticket payment deadline. From 24 hours to 20 minutes before departure, paid ticket holders can choose a seat during online check-in. Some seats are unavailable in advance, and aircraft changes can alter assignments.

Who can sit beside an AIRDO emergency exit?

You must be at least 15, speak Japanese or English, understand and relay crew instructions, and be willing and physically able to help evacuate. You must not need boarding assistance or be travelling with a child under eight. Expectant mothers cannot use these seats. Exit-row passengers cannot keep baggage at their feet or on their laps.

What cabin baggage can I bring on AIRDO?

You may bring one cabin bag and one personal item, weighing no more than 10 kg together. The cabin bag must fit within 55 × 40 × 25 cm and a combined length, width and height of 115 cm. Since 1 October 2026, the personal item limit is 40 × 30 × 20 cm; it must fit under the seat ahead. Items that cannot be safely stowed may need checking.
