Frequently asked questions

What cabin baggage is allowed on Air Rarotonga?

The usual limit is 7 kg and 48 × 34 × 23 cm, including services to Papeete and Niue. Flights to Manihiki, Penrhyn and Pukapuka have a lower 3 kg limit for a bag that fits under the seat, because the aircraft have no overhead lockers. Crew may place cabin bags in the hold for space or safety reasons, even when they meet the allowance.

Does a Seat Only fare include checked baggage?

No. Domestic and regional Seat Only fares exclude checked baggage, and extra checked bags cannot be guaranteed for purchase. Choose a fare with a checked-bag allowance if you need one. The Aitutaki Day Tour also has no checked-bag allowance and includes only 7 kg of cabin baggage.
