Frequently asked questions

How are seats assigned on Albastar?

Albastar's conditions provide for automatic seat assignment at the airport counters, subject to availability. Crew may change assigned seats for flight safety, including enforcing emergency-exit restrictions. These conditions do not promise a particular requested seat.

How do I request mobility assistance on Albastar?

Ask your travel agency at least 48 hours before departure and describe your needs. If taking your own wheelchair, provide its type, dimensions, weight and battery details; battery-powered chairs require a request at least three working days ahead. Up to two wheelchairs may travel free, subject to space, but wet or spillable batteries are not accepted. Present yourself at check-in at least two hours before departure.

What cabin baggage can I bring on Albastar?

One cabin bag up to 8 kg and 55 × 40 × 20 cm is included, plus one permitted small article such as a handbag or laptop bag. The main bag must fit under the seat or in an overhead compartment. Infants have no ordinary free baggage allowance, but a changing bag with supplies needed during the flight is allowed. Checked-baggage weight depends on your agency or tour operator's agreement.

Can I bring a dog or cat on Albastar?

Request space through your agency or tour operator when booking. One carrier per passenger is permitted, with at most three on a flight; animal, food and carrier together must not exceed 8 kg, and the carrier must fit within 45 × 35 × 25 cm. You must pay a supplement and provide the required travel documents. The animal stays in its carrier on the floor or under the seat, and crew may change your seat. Ordinary pets are not carried in the hold or on flights to or from the UK or US. Guide dogs have separate arrangements.
