Frequently asked questions

Does Alliance Air charge for choosing a seat?

Some ATR seats have no selection charge, while other rows carry a fee that varies by aircraft configuration and position. Alliance Air's published preferred-seat charges do not apply to Dornier flights. Check the seat options for your flight rather than assuming every seat is free. Web check-in runs from 48 hours to two hours before departure.

What cabin bag can I take on Alliance Air?

The standard allowance is one cabin bag up to 5 kg and 40 × 30 × 15 cm, including a laptop and duty-free shopping bags. The passenger FAQ also permits a ladies' purse in addition. Passengers travelling with an infant may bring an additional bag up to 5 kg within the same dimensions.

What is Alliance Air's standard checked-baggage allowance?

The published allowance is 15 kg per passenger on domestic flights, reduced to 10 kg on flights to or from Kullu and on all Dornier flights. International flights have a 20 kg allowance. These are total weight allowances; a single checked piece cannot exceed 32 kg.
