Frequently asked questions

How do I book a child fare when taking an Amakusa discount fare?

If the accompanying adult uses a standard fare, adult and child fares can be booked together online. If the adult uses a discount fare, Amakusa says to book the adult first and then ask its reservation centre to add the child aged 3–11. The website cannot book those two fare types together in one transaction.

What can I carry into the Amakusa Airlines cabin?

You may bring one personal item and one cabin bag, with a combined weight no greater than 10 kg. The cabin bag must be within 45 × 35 × 20 cm. Items exceeding the allowance, or unable to be safely stowed because of limited space, may be taken for carriage in the hold.

How much checked baggage is included with Amakusa Airlines?

Up to 20 kg per passenger is free. The total accepted weight is 45 kg per passenger, with a maximum of 32 kg for any one piece; excess charges apply above 20 kg. Each piece must fit within 50 × 60 × 120 cm. Large sports equipment can be refused because of the small hold, even when it meets the weight allowance.
