How do I choose a seat on an Asiana-operated flight?
Select a seat during booking or through Find My Trip. Advance selection is offered from 30 days to 24 hours before a domestic flight and from 360 days to 48 hours before an international flight; eligible seats can also be selected or changed during online check-in. Availability depends on the ticket and membership tier, and some seats are excluded. Codeshares, group and charter bookings, and international bookings involving infants under two or pets have restrictions. Aircraft or airport changes can alter an assignment.
What cabin baggage is allowed on an Asiana-operated flight?
Economy allows one cabin bag up to 10 kg with total dimensions no greater than 115 cm, plus one personal item up to 40 × 30 × 20 cm. Business allows two such cabin bags, each up to 10 kg, plus one personal item. Personal items must fit under the seat. Oversize or overweight bags should be checked at the airport counter; other operating airlines can have different rules.
What happens to Asiana bookings for travel from December 17, 2026?
Asiana says flights departing on or after December 17, 2026 will change to Korean Air flight numbers and be operated by Korean Air. Booking and ticket information is being transferred in stages during November and early December. For changes or refunds, use Asiana or your ticketing agency through December 16; from December 17 use Korean Air or your ticketing agency. Check the transfer notice for the schedule that applies to your booking.
