Frequently asked questions

What baggage allowance does ATA publish?

Cabin baggage is limited to 6 kg and 55 × 35 × 25 cm, with dimensions totalling no more than 115 cm. The published checked allowance is 20 kg domestically or 25 kg internationally for passengers with seats, and 10 kg for infants without seats. Embraer flights have a 15 kg passenger allowance.

Can I request wheelchair assistance?

Request it through your booking agency. ATA describes assistance by lift to the aircraft entrance, but explicitly says wheelchair and other special services are unavailable on Embraer aircraft. Confirm the aircraft and assistance before booking.

Can pets travel on ATA?

Dogs, cats and birds may travel on domestic flights with advance coordination, except on Embraer aircraft. Arrange acceptance with the departure station’s baggage staff and provide vaccination documents and a suitable ventilated crate. Rabbits and rodents, including hamsters, are prohibited. These rules do not promise cabin carriage.

Can I obtain my boarding pass before reaching the airport?

ATA’s passenger FAQ says boarding passes are issued in person at the airport.
