Frequently asked questions
When can I choose a seat on BA Euroflyer?
Choose during booking or through Manage My Booking. Most fares allow free selection from check-in, 24 hours before departure; Basic instead receives a free allocated seat, with paid choice or changes. Gold/Emerald and Silver/Sapphire members can choose free from booking; Bronze/Ruby members from seven days ahead, excluding exit rows until 24 hours. Group-rate bookings are excluded from these status benefits. Some flexible fares include earlier choice. Operational, safety or security needs can change assignments.
Will children sit with an adult on BA Euroflyer?
Each child under 12 is seated next to an adult from the same booking, although the whole party may be split. When travelling with a lap infant under two, seat selection for the party is free from booking, except for parties larger than nine. Choose in Manage My Booking.
Who may sit in a BA Euroflyer exit row?
You must be older than 12, willing and physically able to help evacuate and operate the exit, and able to understand English instructions. You cannot be pregnant or have substantial hearing loss, low vision or accessibility needs under the published requirements. The booking process asks you to confirm eligibility.
What cabin baggage is allowed on BA Euroflyer?
You may bring one small bag up to 40 × 30 × 15 cm under the seat and one cabin bag up to 56 × 45 × 25 cm, including wheels and handles. The small bag is guaranteed in the cabin; the larger bag may go in the hold. Keep medicines, valuables and electronics in the small bag. You must be able to lift the larger bag overhead; disability-related lifting exceptions apply.
