Frequently asked questions

Can I keep a backpack or laptop with me on Bering Air?

Small backpacks, handbags and laptops may be carried out to the aircraft, but the pilot must stow them safely for takeoff and landing because cabin storage is limited. Larger bags need to be checked.

What is Bering Air’s current free baggage allowance?

The policy effective July 1, 2025 allows 50 lb in total, including one small personal item. Additional weight attracts excess charges. Oversized items and any individual piece over 50 lb must be sent through the freight counter at freight rates. Strollers, mobility aids and medical devices travel free.
