Binter is a Spanish airline centred on the Canary Islands, linking the islands with each other and with mainland Spain, Portugal and West Africa. It began operations in March 1989 as an Iberia subsidiary and was acquired by Canarian investors in 2002. Its network uses ATR 72 turboprops and Embraer E195-E2 jets.

On national and international fares, Basic charges for seat selection; Plus includes standard seats, while FlexiPlus includes standard, preferred and XL seats, subject to availability. The Madrid-only Premium fare provides a seat in the front rows with the adjacent seat empty. You can open your reservation with its booking reference and surname to choose a seat.
You can bring one bag up to 8 kg plus personal effects. The bag size limit is 45 × 35 × 25 cm on ATR aircraft and 52 × 40 × 25 cm on Embraers. On a connecting itinerary using both types, Binter accepts the Embraer allowance without an extra charge; a bag that will not fit in the ATR cabin is handed over and collected beside the aircraft. Infants have no hand baggage allowance.
