Frequently asked questions
When can I choose a seat?
Choose a seat for a fee during booking or before completing check-in, up to five hours before departure. After check-in, seating changes need airport-counter assistance. For U8 flights, use Tus Airways’ website from seven days before departure with the booking number beginning with 5 sent by SMS.
Will my family sit together?
Buy and select seats in advance to arrange your preferred places together. Without purchased seats, airport staff try to seat families together subject to availability; arriving early improves the chances but does not guarantee adjacency.
How do I arrange mobility assistance and suitable seating?
Contact Blue Bird immediately after booking to arrange wheelchair or other disability support. Its published seating policy excludes emergency-exit and aisle seats for passengers with disabilities. Underlying medical conditions can require a completed fit-to-fly certificate at least seven days before departure; ask which arrangements apply to you.
What cabin baggage is included?
One personal item up to 18 × 30 × 40 cm and 4 kg is included and must fit under the seat. Duty-free purchases count toward that allowance. A larger carry-on up to 23 × 40 × 55 cm and 8 kg costs extra; even a paid bag can go in the hold if cabin space is limited.
Can a small pet travel in the cabin?
Dogs, cats and ferrets can travel in a carrier up to 55 × 40 × 20 cm and 8 kg including the animal, with a charge per carrier each way. Complete the pet checklist and obtain approval at least seven days before departure. The carrier must allow the animal to stand, turn and lie down and remain on the floor. Follow the linked document checklist, including additional notification for Europe–Israel flights.
