Frequently asked questions

Do Carpatair’s own passenger rules apply to every flight it operates?

No. Its conditions exclude flights performed under wet-lease agreements. On charters, they apply only where incorporated into the charter agreement, which takes priority if the terms conflict. Check the airline or organiser named in your booking before relying on a baggage or seating rule.

Can I take a large musical instrument into a Carpatair cabin?

Where Carpatair’s conditions apply, an instrument that cannot fit under the seat or in a baggage compartment needs advance notice and explicit approval for cabin carriage. A separate charge applies. Ordinary cabin baggage must fit in the approved storage space or be checked.

Can I bring a pet on a Carpatair flight?

Where Carpatair’s conditions apply, pet travel requires its agreement. The animal must accompany you, be properly crated and have the required health, vaccination and entry or transit documents. The conditions do not promise cabin carriage for ordinary pets; assistance dogs have separate provisions.
