It depends on the market and fare. DAT’s Danish and Norwegian domestic fare tables include free selection in the listed ticket types. In the German table, Flex includes it while Smart, Classic and Flash Sale do not. All these ticket types are in Economy; a flexible fare is not a separate Business cabin.
Yes. Current DAT conditions make seat choice subject to availability and operational, safety and security requirements. DAT can reassign seats, including after boarding, when reasonably necessary. If you separately paid for a specific selection service that DAT cannot provide, its stated liability for that service is a refund of the amount paid, subject to mandatory law.
Online check-in generally opens 22 hours before departure, with a 12-hour opening at Billund. Select your departure airport on DAT’s check-in page and have the booking reference ready. Closing times depend on the airport and can be earlier than counter check-in. After online check-in, changes to the booking are no longer available.
DAT’s conditions place infants under two on an accompanying adult’s lap with an infant belt, with one infant per adult. Infant car seats cannot be used during take-off or landing. DAT limits each departure to three infants, so arrange the booking in advance rather than assuming space remains.
