easyJet Switzerland is the Swiss operating airline within the easyJet group, based in Geneva with operations at Geneva and Basel-Mulhouse. Its Airbus aircraft serve the group’s European short-haul network. The Basel base opened in June 2005.

Seat selection normally costs extra, while easyJet Plus and Inclusive Plus include Standard or Up Front seats. Extra Legroom is included for Plus members and discounted with Inclusive Plus. Otherwise, a seat is assigned free at check-in. Choose or change online before check-in, up to two hours before departure; after check-in, contact Customer Services. Operational or safety changes remain possible.
You must be at least 16, willing and able to operate an exit and understand instructions promptly without help. You cannot travel there with an infant, need additional support equipment or have a condition preventing quick movement. Crew will move passengers who do not meet the requirements on the day.
The airline tries to keep families together, but does not guarantee the whole group will sit together without selected seats. If you have not chosen seats, check in early: it opens 30 days ahead. Each child under 12 will be seated close to an adult on the booking, with arrangements made at the airport or onboard if necessary.
Everyone may bring one underseat bag up to 45 × 36 × 20 cm and 15 kg. A second bag up to 56 × 45 × 25 cm and 15 kg requires a purchased bag allowance or an eligible fare or membership benefit. You must lift and carry your bags yourself. Plus members should add the larger bag to their booking; without advance booking, and on Inclusive Plus, it may go in the hold free if cabin space runs out.
