Frequently asked questions

How can I book a Flightlink exit-row seat, and who is eligible?

Request one during purchase, through Manage My Booking or at check-in; a fee may apply. You must be at least 18, understand and communicate in English, and be willing and physically able to assist in an evacuation. You cannot travel there with children or anyone needing help, or use a belt extender or device that hinders movement. Conditions affecting emergency duties also make passengers ineligible for these seats.

What cabin bag can I take on Flightlink?

The published terms allow one soft bag up to 5 kg and 40 × 15 × 30 cm, plus a purse or small shoulder bag and a camera. It must fit the airport sizing frame and under a seat or in the bin. Trolley bags and oversized backpacks must be checked. Adults and children separately receive one checked bag of 20 kg, or 25 kg on flights to or from Pemba and Mombasa.
