Frequently asked questions
Can I request a particular seat?
Some fares and cabin classes allow a seat or cabin-area preference when booking, through an agent or through the call centre. Link Airways will try to meet the request, but a particular seat is not guaranteed and can be changed for safety or operational reasons, even after boarding.
Can Link Airways help me board if I cannot use the stairs?
Arrange assistance before confirming your booking. A passenger lift can be used on Saab 340B Plus services, but not on Metro 23s or at Biloela, Inverell and Narrabri. Request a lift when booking, preferably at least 48 hours ahead. Metro passengers must be able to use the stairs with minimal assistance. The airline can discuss alternatives for your particular route.
What cabin baggage is included?
Adults and children may bring one cabin bag up to 7 kg and 48 × 34 × 23 cm on the Saab 340B Plus and Metro 23, plus permitted small personal articles. Crew may place even a compliant bag in the hold for operational or safety reasons. Infants have no separate cabin-bag allowance, but their food and nappies may be carried with the accompanying adult’s allowance.
