Frequently asked questions

Can Malta MedAir change my reserved seat?

Yes. Its conditions say advance requests are not guaranteed and seats can be reassigned, even after boarding, for operational, safety or security reasons. For charters, these conditions apply only where incorporated into the charter agreement or ticket.

Can I buy a separate seat for an infant on Malta MedAir?

Yes. Arrange it through reservations and obtain approval for the car seat you plan to use. A lap-infant fare requires the child to remain under two throughout the journey. If the child turns two before the return, contact reservations to make a child booking.

What cabin baggage does Malta MedAir publish?

One cabin bag up to 10 kg and 40 × 55 × 25 cm, plus a smaller personal item up to 40 × 30 × 15 cm. Oversize or overweight cabin items attract an airport charge. Check the specific baggage terms in your charter or ticket.

Can my cat or dog fly in Malta MedAir’s cabin?

Confirm with reservations first. Pet and collapsible carrier together must not exceed 10 kg, and the carrier must fit within 40 × 34 × 20 cm. An adult must accompany the pet, which must be at least 15 weeks old and weaned for five days. Pets stay under a window seat away from exits. Cabin pets are not accepted into the UK or in transit through Malta. Health and travel documents are required; guide dogs follow separate rules.
