Frequently asked questions

How do I arrange a mobility aid or medical device on Marathon Airlines?

Wheelchairs and battery-powered mobility aids need Marathon’s written approval before travel. Send the manufacturer’s data sheet or manual at least 48 hours before departure so the airline can check battery type, weight and dimensions against the aircraft. Portable medical equipment such as a CPAP machine or oxygen concentrator also requires advance review; using it on board needs written approval and a medical permit.

Can I carry and use a power bank on Marathon Airlines?

You may carry up to two power banks in the cabin, each normally no more than 100 Wh. Banks above 100 Wh and up to 160 Wh require prior written approval. Protect each bank against short circuits and keep it accessible under the seat, in the seat pocket or on your person, rather than in an overhead locker. Using a power bank to charge devices or charging the bank itself is prohibited on board; the policy lists approved medical devices as the sole exception.
