Norlandair is an Icelandic airline based at Akureyri, serving remote communities in Iceland and eastern Greenland. The present company was established in 2008 after acquiring Air Iceland’s Twin Otter operation, reviving a name first used in 1974. Its fleet includes Twin Otters and Beechcraft King Airs for scheduled services and charter work.

Contact Norlandair’s office to arrange the level of help you need, from a wheelchair to the aircraft to assistance boarding and transferring to your seat. If you have requested assistance, arrive for check-in at least 45 minutes before departure.
All fares include one checked bag up to 20 kg and 158 cm when length, width and height are added together. Cabin baggage is limited to one small item, such as a handbag or laptop bag, up to 4 kg; backpacks and sports bags do not fit the cabin allowance. Book extra baggage in advance, and arrange oversized equipment through Norlandair’s office.
Icelandair Cargo handles pet transport for Norlandair, so arrange carriage with that service. Animals must be in a suitable escape-proof cage and presented at least one hour before departure. Rodents are not accepted.
