Frequently asked questions

Can I choose an Oriental Air Bridge seat in advance?

Yes, on the website while booking. Some seats are held for assistance needs or aircraft balance. If none can be selected, your reservation remains confirmed: choose at an airport kiosk or counter on departure day. Aircraft changes can alter the seat, including its window or aisle position.

Who may sit in an ORC exit row?

You must be at least 15, speak Japanese or English, understand and relay instructions, and be able to operate the exit. You cannot require boarding assistance, be responsible for helping another traveller in an emergency or accompany a child under eight. Bags cannot stay on your lap or at your feet.

What baggage does Oriental Air Bridge include?

One cabin bag may weigh up to 10 kg and measure 45 × 35 × 20 cm, with dimensions totalling at most 100 cm. If it cannot be stowed, it may be checked. The checked allowance is two pieces up to 23 kg each and 158 cm total dimensions per piece; excess weight, size or pieces incur charges.

Can my pet travel in ORC’s cabin?

Ordinary pets travel as checked baggage: eligible small birds, dogs and cats must be declared when booking. Ask at check-in if you need a loan cage. Listed short-nosed dog breeds are not accepted from May 1 through October 31. Recognised assistance dogs follow separate cabin arrangements.

How do I arrange ORC wheelchair assistance?

Describe your walking and stair-climbing ability when booking. Airport wheelchairs are available; your own chair is checked, subject to aircraft size and equipment limits. Passengers unable to walk alone need a companion. Boarding ramps or lifts depend on conditions.

Does ORC provide seating supports?

Yes. Eligible passengers who have difficulty maintaining a seated position can borrow an assist seat or support belt free. Reserve at least 48 hours ahead. The aircraft seat belt must still be worn.

Can one adult take two infants on ORC?

Yes, subject to the flight’s infant limit. One infant needs the adjoining paid seat and an accepted child restraint, which you supply. Declare both when booking. Exit rows are excluded, and oxygen-mask limits restrict infants sharing a seat row.

Can an assistance dog travel in the ORC cabin?

Guide, hearing and assistance dogs travel in the cabin free. Declare the dog and any seating needs when booking so ORC can arrange suitable seating.
