Frequently asked questions

How can I choose a Pacific Coastal seat?

Select an available seat when booking, through Manage My Booking or by calling the airline. Encore and QuikPass Encore include advance selection; other fares charge for it. Without an advance selection, you can choose from remaining seats during online check-in or receive an assignment at the airport.

Do families have to pay to select Pacific Coastal seats?

Advance seat selection is complimentary for children under 14 travelling with a parent or guardian, unaccompanied minors and customers travelling with an infant, regardless of fare. Contact Pacific Coastal’s call centre before travel to arrange these seats.

What is Pacific Coastal’s carry-on and valet allowance?

You may bring one standard bag up to 23 × 40 × 55 cm and one personal item up to 16 × 33 × 43 cm, each weighing no more than 10 kg. Because cabin storage is limited, larger permitted carry-ons can use planeside valet service and are returned at the aircraft steps. Keep fragile and valuable items with you within cabin limits.

Can a small pet travel in the Pacific Coastal cabin?

Dogs, cats, rabbits and birds can travel in an approved soft-sided carrier, up to 10 kg including the pet and no larger than 43 × 25.4 × 25.4 cm. Reserve through the airline at least 48 hours before travel; spaces are limited. The carrier counts toward carry-on baggage. Pets are not accepted on itineraries involving its WestJet or Air Canada interline flights, or with unaccompanied minors.
