Frequently asked questions

Can I choose my Philippines AirAsia seat?

Advance seat choice costs extra unless included in your purchased bundle. You can preselect through AirAsia MOVE up to two hours before departure; otherwise, check-in assigns a seat free. Assignments can change for operational or safety reasons. If disruption prevents an equivalent-value replacement seat, the Z2 conditions provide for refunding the seat fee.

Who may sit at a Philippines AirAsia emergency exit?

You must be at least 15, physically and mentally able to assist, and able to understand emergency instructions. You cannot be pregnant, travelling with an infant, or holding an extra-seat booking. Young passengers travelling alone are excluded. Ineligible passengers may be moved without refunding the seat fee.

Will my child sit beside an adult?

AirAsia’s policy requires children under 12 to sit beside an accompanying adult. This does not guarantee that the whole group sits together. Paid preselection lets you choose particular adjacent seats.

How do I request wheelchair assistance for a Z2 flight?

Request wheelchair service while booking or through Manage My Booking at least four hours before departure. Battery-powered mobility devices need arrangements at least 48 hours ahead. Passengers with special requirements must check in at the airport counter. A companion may be required for evacuation or safety-instruction needs.

What cabin bags can I bring on Philippines AirAsia?

Except for infants, the standard allowance is one cabin bag up to 56 × 36 × 23 cm and one small bag up to 40 × 30 × 10 cm, together weighing no more than 7 kg. Oversized or overweight bags may be checked for a fee.
