Frequently asked questions

Can I choose my seat in advance?

You can send a seat request to enquiries@samoaairways.com. Final seats are allocated at check-in and remain subject to operational requirements, so an advance request is not a guaranteed assignment.

What baggage can I bring?

Adults and children aged 2–11 may bring one cabin bag weighing up to 5 kg and one checked bag weighing up to 15 kg. Checked bags must not exceed 158 cm in combined length, width and height. Extra baggage is purchased at the airport on departure day and depends on available aircraft capacity; ask the airline about an infant’s allowance.

Can I check in online, and when should I arrive?

Check in at the departure airport’s check-in facility. For flights between Samoa and American Samoa, check-in opens two hours before departure; the deadline is 60 minutes before departure unless your itinerary states otherwise.
