Frequently asked questions

What if I need more than one seat on an Aleutian Airways flight?

Contact reservations to book an additional seat if you cannot fit comfortably within one seat with its armrests down. Aleutian publishes this requirement for its passenger services operated by Sterling Airways; arrange it before travel rather than relying on an empty neighbouring seat.

Is checked baggage included on Sterling’s Aleutian Airways services?

A first checked bag is included with a refundable fare and for Aleutian Club members. Other fares normally require payment. One personal item up to 16 lb is free. Additional bags depend on space and may travel later; Anchorage–Unalaska services normally allow only one checked bag per passenger, with extras accepted on standby.

Can pets travel on Sterling’s Aleutian Airways services?

Aleutian lists paid pet carriage in the cabin and hold, subject to space and flight approval. Animals in the hold must not exceed 100 lb together with the kennel and need a rabies certificate. Service animals have separate provisions. Confirm the arrangement before booking.
