Frequently asked questions

Can I choose a seat on SUM Air before departure?

Reserve through its website or reservations centre until 24 hours before departure. Otherwise a seat is allocated at the airport. For tickets bought from 13 October 2026, the Korean policy makes advance selection free with the normal Y fare; discounted and promotional fares are charged. Check the terms shown with your ticket.

Who can sit in a SUM Air exit row?

You must be able to help the crew in an emergency and communicate in Korean or English. Its restrictions include passengers under 15, pregnant passengers, people accompanying infants or children, and passengers with pets. Airport staff may reject an unsuitable exit-row allocation even if it was purchased.
