Frequently asked questions
How can I choose a front-row or extra-legroom Uganda Airlines seat?
Use Manage Booking to request preferred seating. Preferred and extra-legroom seats are priced separately for Economy, with charges depending on fare and route. Advance requests remain subject to reassignment for operational, safety or security reasons, including after boarding.
What cabin baggage weight does Uganda Airlines allow?
The published fare table allows Economy passengers one cabin bag up to 7 kg plus one accessory. Business permits two cabin bags up to 7 kg each plus one accessory. Check the fare and route conditions attached to your ticket.
When should I request Uganda Airlines wheelchair assistance?
Contact reservations or customer service at least 48 hours before departure. Your own manual or powered wheelchair is carried free; powered chairs must be checked at the airport counter. The A330 has an onboard wheelchair, while the CRJ900 does not. Crew can help between the seat and lavatory, but do not provide feeding, personal care inside the lavatory or medical services; arrange an accompanying carer if needed.
Can I book an extra Uganda Airlines seat for a fragile item?
Yes, subject to approval. Request cabin baggage in a seat through an airline sales or reservation office at least 48 hours before departure and obtain confirmation. The item may weigh up to 75 kg and must be securely packed, restrained and clear of exits and safety equipment. You must sit beside it and board early; an item that cannot be secured must be checked into the hold.
