VASCO, short for Vietnam Air Services Company, is Vietnam Airlines’ regional operation serving short domestic routes with ATR 72 turboprops. Its predecessor was established in February 1987 for specialist aviation work, before passenger services began in May 2004. Its island links include the route between Ho Chi Minh City and Con Dao.
