Frequently asked questions

What if I need more than one seat on a FlyNamibia passenger flight?

Contact reservations before booking to arrange your requirements. FlyNamibia’s conditions require a passenger who cannot fit in one seat to purchase additional seats at the applicable fare. These are scheduled-passenger conditions; confirm a Westair private charter’s arrangements separately.

What baggage does FlyNamibia publish for scheduled passenger flights?

Its conditions list 20 kg checked baggage for adults and children aged two and over, plus an 8 kg cabin bag. Infants under two receive 10 kg checked baggage, a collapsible pram or buggy and one car seat. No checked piece may exceed 32 kg. Confirm dimensions and the allowance printed on your ticket; charter and safari services need their own terms.

Can an ordinary pet travel in FlyNamibia’s cabin?

The published conditions place accepted pets in the hold. On domestic flights, small or medium cats, dogs and household birds may travel as checked baggage, with animal and crate together limited to 32 kg. On regional flights animals must travel as cargo. Obtain approval through reservations at least three business days ahead and check the special Friday cutoffs for weekend or Monday flights. Assistance animals have separate rules.
