Winair, formally Windward Islands Airways International N.V., is a regional airline based in Sint Maarten. Founded in 1961, it connects Caribbean islands through Princess Juliana International Airport. Its fleet combines ATR 42-500s for regional routes with smaller De Havilland Twin Otters serving short-runway destinations such as Saba and St. Barthélemy.

Advance seat selection is available on ATR flights, but not on Twin Otters. Choose a seat while booking or through Additional Services in Manage My Booking. It is a paid option with Saver, Lite and Value fares; Prime includes seat selection.
All four fare families include one personal item up to 3 kg. Lite and Prime also include a 6 kg carry-on; Saver and Value do not. Value and Prime include one checked bag up to 23 kg, while Saver and Lite charge for checked baggage. Bags must meet the airline’s size limits, and codeshare flights can follow the operating carrier’s rules.
Small domestic pets can travel subject to space and the airline’s confirmation. Give at least 48 hours’ notice. For cabin travel, pet and carrier together must weigh no more than 6 kg, and the carrier must meet the published 11 × 11 × 18 inch limit. Destination entry documents are required; larger pets have separate hold arrangements.
