Afriqiyah Airways is a Libyan airline connecting the country with destinations across the Arab world and Africa. Founded in April 2001, it began services that December and later moved from its original Boeing 737-400 operation to Airbus aircraft. It is owned by the Libyan African Aviation Holding Company.
