Frequently asked questions
How does Air Inuit help families sit together?
Air Inuit says most of its flights operate without assigned seating. For a child under 14, it aims to arrange a seat close to a parent, guardian or tutor without an extra charge and encourages families to use pre-boarding. On flights with assigned seats, staff ask for volunteers to move if nearby seats cannot be arranged at check-in.
What cabin bag can I bring on Air Inuit?
The cabin-bag weight limit is 5 kg. The size limit depends on the aircraft: 23 × 37 × 51 cm on Boeing 737 and Dash-8, 23 × 33 × 33 cm on Twin Otter, and 20 × 30 × 33 cm on King Air. On King Air, hand baggage and personal items are loaded at the back because of limited space. Air Inuit also allows one item from its separate list of personal or essential articles.
How does Air Inuit calculate checked baggage allowance?
Air Inuit uses total weight rather than a fixed number of bags. The regular allowance is 30 kg on Boeing 737, Dash-8 and Twin Otter, and 20 kg on King Air. Each piece must stay within 32 kg and 158 cm in total dimensions. Special beneficiary tickets have separate provisions; for a mixed-aircraft trip, check the allowance on each segment. Excess baggage travels subject to available space and payload.
