Air Niugini Seat Maps & Seating Plans

Air Niugini is Papua New Guinea’s national airline, linking domestic communities with international services through Port Moresby. It began flying in 1973 and developed a network across Asia, Australia and the Pacific. Domestic connections remain central to its role in a country where many communities lack road links.

Frequently asked questions

Can I select an Air Niugini seat before check-in?

Yes. Choose a seat while booking or add one later through Manage Your Booking. Standard seats are generally included, while preferred, bulkhead and other premium seats may cost extra; the amount depends on the route and seat category. Gold and Silver Executive Club members may receive premium-seat benefits. Assignments can change for operational, security or safety reasons. Tell Air Niugini at booking if you need medical or mobility-related seating arrangements.

Who can use an Air Niugini exit-row seat?

Exit-row passengers must be at least 15 and capable of helping in an emergency. Air Niugini excludes travellers requiring assistance or with mobility, intellectual or sensory impairments, parents with infants, expectant mothers, passengers with medical conditions and people in lawful custody. Choose another seat if these restrictions apply.
