Frequently asked questions

How can I book an extra-legroom seat?

Buy through Manage Booking, an Air Seychelles sales office or airport check-in, subject to availability and payment. The service is for Air Seychelles-operated flights, excluding partner-operated codeshares. Charges apply per person and flight sector. Seats may change for operational reasons. Fees are normally non-refundable and non-transferable, with exceptions for cancellation, aircraft-related seat changes or an already purchased ticket upgrade.

Who can sit in an Air Seychelles exit row?

You must be at least 18, able to reach, open and evacuate through the exit, understand safety instructions in French or English, check outside conditions and assist crew and passengers. You cannot be pregnant, travel with children or infants, be accompanied by a carer or guide dog, or have a condition that prevents these duties. Staff check eligibility and can move an ineligible passenger to a regular seat without refunding the extra-legroom fee.

How does cabin baggage differ between international and domestic flights?

On the regional international network, Economy allows 7 kg and Business 12 kg across at most two pieces. The published cabin-bag dimensions are 55 × 40 × 20 cm. Point-to-point Mahé–Praslin flights allow 5 kg of hand baggage. For a domestic connection on an international through ticket, check the allowance stated on your ticket. Itineraries involving another operating or ticketing airline can have different rules.
