Frequently asked questions

When can I choose an easyJet Europe seat?

Choose for a fee when booking or through Manage Bookings before check-in, up to two hours before departure. Paid selection must cover all passengers on the booking. easyJet Plus includes seat selection; Inclusive Plus includes Standard or Up Front seats, with Extra Legroom discounted. Without a chosen seat, the system allocates one at check-in. After checking in, ask Customer Service to change seats.

Who can use an easyJet Europe restricted seat?

You must be at least 16, willing and able to assist in an emergency, operate an exit if asked and respond to instructions quickly without help. You cannot travel with an infant, need extra equipment such as a seat-belt extender or support cushion, or have a limitation from illness, injury, pregnancy, disability or age that prevents quick movement. Crew move passengers who do not qualify.

Will easyJet Europe seat my child near an adult?

easyJet says every child under 12 will sit close to an adult on the same booking, although this may need arranging at the airport or on board. The whole family may be split up. If you have not bought seats, check in early: it opens 30 days before departure, and easyJet recommends doing so at least seven days before travel.

What cabin baggage does easyJet Europe include?

Everyone may bring a free under-seat bag up to 45 × 36 × 20 cm and 15 kg. An overhead bag up to 56 × 45 × 25 cm and 15 kg requires a purchased allowance or eligible Inclusive Plus or easyJet Plus benefits. Book that bag in advance; unreserved membership bags and Inclusive Plus bags remain subject to cabin space. Up Front or Extra Legroom seating alone does not add a large cabin bag. Wheels and handles count, and you must lift and carry your bags yourself.
