Frequently asked questions

Can I choose a seat on Indonesia AirAsia?

Advance seat requests are available for a fee, subject to availability. Otherwise a seat is assigned at check-in. Paid requests can still be changed for operational or safety reasons; moving to a higher-priced seat on board requires the appropriate payment.

What cabin baggage is included on QZ flights?

The standard allowance is two pieces weighing 7 kg combined: a cabin bag up to 56 × 36 × 23 cm and a smaller bag up to 40 × 30 × 10 cm. Infants without their own allowance are excluded; paid add-ons can provide different allowances.

Do Indonesia AirAsia domestic flights include checked baggage?

QZ domestic flights include 15 kg of checked baggage. Value Pack and Premium Flex include 20 kg. The domestic complimentary allowance does not automatically extend to an international connecting sector.

Can I bring an ordinary pet on Indonesia AirAsia?

No. The QZ conditions list live animals as unacceptable baggage, so an ordinary pet cannot travel as cabin or checked baggage.
