Frequently asked questions

Can Overland change a seat I requested?

Yes. Overland will try to honour advance seating requests but does not guarantee a particular seat. It can assign or change seats even after boarding for operational, safety or security reasons. Missing the stated check-in deadline can also lead to a change within your travel class.

How do I arrange disability-related assistance?

Request assistance when booking and describe what you need. The airline asks for 48 hours’ notice for guided disability assistance and checks that support equipment and resources are available at your destination. Medical cases may require its MEDIF form and advance clearance; staff do not provide specialist nursing care.

What baggage allowance does Overland include?

Both Economy and Premium include one cabin bag up to 6 kg. Published checked-baggage allowances vary with the ticket: Economy offers 15–23 kg and Premium up to 30 kg. Check the allowance attached to your particular fare rather than assuming the highest limit.

Can I travel with a pet?

Overland may accept small dogs, cats and rabbits as accompanied baggage on domestic routes only. Obtain confirmation at least 24 hours before departure. The animal and container together must not exceed 15 kg, and only one pet is accepted per flight. Bring a suitable secured carrier and the required veterinary card and forms. Pregnant animals, those that gave birth within seven days and newborn animals under four weeks or weighing less than 2 kg are excluded.
