When can I choose a NordStar seat, and is it free?
Choose during booking, through My Orders, at online check-in or at the airport. Economy Vygodno and Legko charge for selection; Economy Maximum and Business fares include it. Gold and Platinum members can receive available extra-comfort seats free. The service excludes unaccompanied children and passengers carrying an animal on an adjacent seat; accessibility restrictions also apply. Safety requirements can change assignments. A paid service that cannot be delivered after an aircraft change, cancellation or safety-related downgrade is refundable.
Will NordStar seat my child beside me?
NordStar provides seating together for children under 12 and their accompanying adult. Check in everyone together using Add Passenger. Some child bookings require airport check-in; if online check-in cannot be completed, go to the flight's check-in desk no later than 40 minutes before departure or contact the airline. This provision concerns the child and accompanying adult, rather than every member of a larger party.
Can I pay to keep the seat beside me empty?
On regular NordStar flights in Economy, passengers older than two can buy the Free Seat service at the airport check-in desk from three hours before departure, subject to spare seats. Voluntary cancellation or itinerary changes do not qualify for a service refund. Refunds apply when the service cannot be provided following cancellation, an aircraft change or a safety-related move.
What cabin baggage does NordStar allow?
The published fare table allows 10 kg on Economy Vygodno and Legko, and 15 kg on Economy Maximum and Business fares. The cabin-bag size limit is 55 × 40 × 23 cm. Charter allowances are specified in the itinerary receipt and may differ; codeshare flights follow the operating airline's rules. Bags may be placed in the hold if cabin storage is unavailable.
