Frequently asked questions

How does Rise Air seat children with their family?

Rise Air tries to seat children under 14 close to a parent or guardian without an extra charge. Its targets are adjacent seats for ages five and under, the same row for ages 6–11, and no more than one row apart for ages 12–13. If suitable seats are unavailable at check-in, staff ask for volunteers to move before take-off.

When should I arrange wheelchair assistance with Rise Air?

Tell the airline about your needs when booking and contact Reservations at least 48 hours before departure, including after an online booking. One wheelchair, plus other mobility aids such as walkers or crutches, can travel without an extra charge or any reduction in the normal baggage allowance.

How much cabin baggage does Rise Air permit?

You may bring up to two pieces with a combined maximum weight of 6 kg and combined dimensions no greater than 20 × 43 × 38 cm. A purse no larger than 25 × 30 × 20 cm does not count as one of those two pieces. Larger musical instruments may need to be checked.

Can I bring a pet on Rise Air’s scheduled flights?

Ordinary pets cannot travel in the cabin, and the Beechcraft 1900D cannot take them as checked baggage. Other eligible flights require advance arrangements with at least 24 hours’ notice. From November 1 to March 31, checked pets are restricted to ATR 42/72 and Twin Otter flights. Breed, kennel and space restrictions also apply; service animals have separate cabin rules.
