Frequently asked questions

Can I choose a TransNusa seat, or receive one free?

TransNusa's domestic seat-selection terms offer paid advance choices through its website, call center, ticket offices, travel agents and check-in counters. Automatic assignment is free if you do not choose. Keep the boarding pass and proof of purchase. Selections apply to the first flight rather than automatically carrying through a connection, and staff may move you for safety.

Who can sit in a TransNusa emergency-exit seat?

TransNusa excludes passengers under 15, elderly passengers, pregnant passengers, those travelling with infants, people with disabilities or limited mobility, and anyone unable to understand crew instructions or unwilling to help. Staff can reassign an ineligible passenger, and the published terms say the purchased exit-seat fee is not refundable in that case.

How much cabin baggage does TransNusa allow?

Passengers other than infants may bring two pieces weighing up to 7 kg together: a cabin bag up to 56 × 36 × 23 cm and a small handbag, laptop bag or other small bag up to 40 × 30 × 10 cm. The larger piece must fit overhead and the small item under the seat. Bags over the limits must be checked and may incur a gate-baggage fee.
