9 Air is a Chinese low-cost airline in the Juneyao Group, with Guangzhou Baiyun as its main operating base and Guiyang as a second base. Approved in 2014, it operates Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX 8 aircraft on domestic routes and international services linking China with Southeast Asia.

On eligible domestic flights operated by 9 Air, selection has no cash charge, although some seats require points. China-origin international flights offer free and paid seats. Use the website or WeChat or Alipay mini-program from 16:00 the day before departure until one hour before. Routes and some exit seats are excluded; operational changes can alter assignments.
Passengers must be aged 15–69, be able and willing to assist in an evacuation, and be able to communicate effectively in Chinese. Pregnant passengers, infant carers and people with relevant health, mobility, hearing or vision limitations are excluded. Staff can reassign passengers who do not meet the requirements.

9 Air does not offer an unaccompanied-child service. On domestic flights, an adult aged at least 18 with full legal capacity may accompany at most two children under 12 in the same cabin. Children aged 2–11 have their own seat.
Eligible cats and dogs aged at least eight weeks may travel on selected direct domestic Economy flights. The accompanying adult must meet the airline’s eligibility rules; pregnant, disabled and unaccompanied special-category travellers, adults aged 70 or over, and adults travelling alone with children cannot book this service. One pet per person and two per flight are allowed. Call at least 24 hours ahead and check in two hours before departure with the required quarantine, vaccination and acceptance documents. Dangerous or short-nosed breeds are excluded.
Use a carrier up to 35 × 28 × 24 cm under the seat, or buy a separate pet seat for a carrier up to 40 × 40 × 55 cm secured by the seat belt. Both attract a pet-service fee; the seat option adds an Economy ticket. Keep the carrier closed without feeding or watering during flight. Dogs need a muzzle, and pets need clothing and a diaper.
