Extra Legroom is a separate paid category. If you wait, complimentary selection from remaining seats opens with online check-in 48 hours before departure. Is Singapore Airlines seat selection free for families?

On Singapore Airlines-operated flights, passengers with a child in the same booking may select Standard seats free in advance. The current advance-selection page extends free Standard or Forward Zone selection to bookings with an infant. Bassinet positions remain subject to availability and must be arranged for the actual flight.

Does buying a Premium Economy seat always upgrade my Singapore Airlines service?

You receive that seat while your service class and original Economy fare conditions remain unchanged. This can include Premium Economy Standard or Extra Legroom seats, subject to availability.
