How do I arrange a wheelchair or bring a powered mobility aid?
Request a wheelchair when booking at a sales counter or during airport check-in; ask the experience centre about further assistance. For a lithium-battery mobility aid, notify reservations at least 48 hours ahead and alert check-in staff. Air Astra lists a 300 Wh battery limit, or 160 Wh each for a device requiring two batteries. Spare batteries must travel in the cabin: one up to 300 Wh or two up to 160 Wh each.
What are Air Astra’s baggage allowances?
Adults and children have 20 kg of checked baggage and 7 kg of cabin baggage. The published dimensions are 40 × 60 × 100 cm for checked bags and 22 × 34 × 48 cm for cabin bags. Infants have 10 kg of checked baggage. Passengers connecting from a same-day international flight receive an extra 10 kg for the domestic flight when they provide their travel documents. No individual checked bag may exceed 32 kg.
Can a child travel alone with Air Astra?
Children aged 5–11 can travel alone under Air Astra’s unaccompanied-minor arrangements. Call its helpline when booking to explain the child’s needs and inform the experience centre before the flight.
Can my pet travel in the Air Astra cabin?
No. Air Astra does not accept pets in the cabin. Its pet-transport requirements include a minimum age of 105 days, valid rabies vaccination and a rigid container with a secure door. The animal must be healthy, harmless, not pregnant and not sedated, with enough space to stand, turn and lie down. The container limit is 100 × 78 × 69 cm. Present the animal at check-in at least one hour before departure and arrange acceptance before travelling.
