Air Nostrum is a privately owned Spanish regional airline founded in Valencia in 1994. It has operated under the Iberia Regional Air Nostrum brand since its 1997 franchise agreement with Iberia, connecting regional markets in Europe and North Africa with Iberia’s wider network. Each passenger may bring one carrier up to 45 × 35 × 25 cm, weighing 8 kg including the animal. Up to three accepted animals of the same species may share it. Iberia assigns a suitable seat and checks the pet’s documents at the airport.
