Frequently asked questions

When is advance seat selection included?

On ASL Airlines France-operated flights, selection is available during booking until three hours before departure. Flex includes all zones; Standard includes zones 3 and 4 for travel from March 29, 2026. Other applicable choices are paid. A seat is assigned free at check-in. The reserved zone is guaranteed, rather than a particular seat number.

Who may sit in an emergency-exit row?

Passengers must be at least 18, understand French or English and be able to open exits, move quickly and assist in an evacuation. Exclusions include pregnancy, travelling with an animal, impaired mobility, vision, hearing or cognition, and a body size that obstructs the exit. Fear of flying and intoxication are also exclusions. Ineligible passengers can be moved without a seat-fee refund.

What if my reserved seat changes?

A different seat number with the same characteristics does not qualify for a refund. If the service is not delivered, first ask the crew to resolve it; unresolved claims go to supportclient@aslairlines.com for assessment under the seat-service terms.

How do I request disability or mobility assistance?

Notify the airline as early as possible and no later than 48 hours before departure. For a ticket bought directly on its website, email supportclient@aslairlines.com. If an agency sold your ticket, submit the request to that seller.

When should I reach the airport?

ASL recommends arriving at check-in three hours before departure, or three and a half hours when departing Algeria. Check-in closes one hour before departure, or 90 minutes for departures from Algeria. Boarding closes 15 minutes before departure at every airport.
